Pete’s Kitchen has been lovingly serving the Colfax district of downtown Denver since 1942 (I want to say thanks to denverbiker for submitting this Colorado Classic onto 2itch awhile back.) I actually had the pleasure of dining here late-night when my family and I couldn’t find anything else open during our Denver trip a few years ago. The food was delicious and served with a smile as we sat in our cozy booth seat in the back. Pete’s isn’t just your average greasy spoon diner either… there is a variety of Mediterranean offerings here in addition to the typical American fare. The greek salad and gyros plate are sumptuous for late-night grub. They’ve won numerous awards for their tasty tummy pleasers and have specifically gotten kudos for their breakfast burrito and hashbrowns. I personally haven’t tried them, but Denverites seem to love ‘em!
Take a glance at their menu for some tiny pics of the place and a view of their classic offerings.
Pete owns seven other restaurants across town, but Pete’s Kitchen is the only Open 24/7 option.
